DOWN SWING 1. Start down swing with weight transfer to left side, keeping SWINGYDE "rest" against side of left forearm until shaft is vertical. 2. Allow SWINGYDE to come away from forearm by accelerating the hands. Clubhead strikes the ball with square club face. NOTE: SWINGYDE is again on top at point of impact, i.e. the club face is still square. 3. Follow through to three - quarter position and continue wrist radial movement so that shaft points skywards. SWINGYDE "rest" meets left forearm as left arm starts to bend. 4. Follow through finishes at top of swing, with hips facing target, SWINGYDE "rest" is still on forearm, and shaft is almost horizontal. HINTChange of direction at top of backswing should be smooth. Take care to pause briefly as SWINGYDE "rest" remains on forearm. The SWINGYDE always touches the left arm for right handed golfers. |
